Brandy Creativity & Technology announces new General Creative Director




San José, Costa Rica. The Brandy Creativity & Technology agency recently announced the incorporation of its new General Creative Director. This is about the Bolivian Alan Calderon, who after a successful career in Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Costa Rica, returns to the country after 4 years.


Brandy Creativity & Technology is an independent agency focused on providing creativity, strategy and technology solutions. According to Juan Ignacio Jiménez, CEO of the company, the incorporation of Calderón will bring a new creative/strategic vision for all its clients.

Calderón decides to bet his future on an independent agency with great potential. In his career he has been awarded with more than 100 awards at the most important festivals in the world such as; Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Effie Latam, Ojo de Iberoamérica, among many others. He has more than 11 years of creative experience working with brands such as: Movistar, Toyota, McDonald's, Red Bull, Nestlé, Scotiabank, Unicef, among others.


“My goal is to continue doing relevant creative work, only that now with more freedom and less bureaucracy, which is the plus that an independent agency gives you. I am sure that Brandy in the short term will show that it has absolutely everything to be one of the best agencies in the region”, said the new creative general director.


The firm focuses on what they call Brandformance, a union of the terms branding and performance, where the construction and creative management of a brand converge with results-based strategies.


Currently, Brandy Creativity & Technology has 50 collaborators and works with more than 40 brands in Costa Rica, the United States and Panamá, such as: Bacardi, Coors Light, Universidad Hispanoamericana, DHL and Tienda Saprissa. Despite the crisis, they project 2021 of local and international growth.


Brandy Creativity & Technology History:

Brandy was born in April 2015 when three young entrepreneurs: Ronald Jimenez, Miguel Bruna (RIP) and Juan Ignacio Jimenez came together to form an advertising agency. Little by little the firm grew until it consolidated itself as one of the most important independent agencies in the country. In February 2020 Brandy merged with digital intelligence company DINT. This is where the company takes a Brandformace [union of Branding and Performance] approach unique in the region. DINT partners Amadeo Quiros and Andres Masis continue to be partners in the new agency.
